The Dark Knight Legend: Junior Novel (Dark Knight Rises)
The Dark Knight Legend: Junior Novel (Dark Knight Rises)
As I wrote Wagamama in the title, you should be picky if you want to see some progress in your tadoku challenge. There're many manual books out there how to tadoku and almost all of them strongly suggest that people should start tadoku from very easy readers or picture books and gradually and carefully climb up the ladder of readability since if you read difficult books at the beginning stage, you're likely to give up on before you read logs of books and see any conspicuous progress yourself.

I partly agree with those discussion. But I think there is much more important criteria before easiness; to pick those books you're mostly likely to fall in love, regardless of the level of the book or the number of English words you have to read. You can be excited when you do something with what you love. Ask yourself if there anything you can be crazy about that you can do English?

It's Badman today I'm going to read with a highschooler. There are not many titles that you can choose from in this junior novel series, but it'll make a good material. The story is divided into twenty or so chapters, with only five to eight pages per chapter. Ss will be finished reading one chapter before they realize it's difficult, still each chapter holds enough story that you'll be satisfied with.
