今日はインフルエンザとご家族の用事で２人お休みでしたが、
見学にみえられた方がありましたので、４人で和やかなワークショップとなりました。
（見学の方は講師と同じ関西出身！）

口周りのエクササイズになりますね。
講師の読み聞かせは、そろそろ春を感じたいんだよな〜ということで、
文中に miss という単語が何度も使われていましたが、
I miss you. 会えなくて寂しいときの miss,
You will miss sleigh rides. チャンスを逃すのmiss,
の違いがよくわかるお話です。

We had two people absent today, one for having the flue and the other busy with family matters, but fortunately welcomed a new visitor. It turned out that she's originally from Kansai just like me the teacher.
Today's tongue twister was "Phil fell four floors head first." The sounds of "f" or "ph" are quite difficult to pronounce for Japanese learners. Tongue twisters make a good exercise for a lesson.
We usually enjoy reading aloud picture books and it was "Wake Me in Spring" today, hoping that we'd soon feel a soft breeze of spring...
In the book, a word "miss" is used several times with two different meanings.
Next workshop is on 19th Feb. (Also 8th for a Thursday class.)
