講座には英語の「勉強」をするつもりで来られる方が多いわけですが、
「お勉強ばかりしていても、英語を使う人にはなれないよ？」
という問いかけから、英語ユーザーになるために必要な、
mindset, attitude という話へとつなげていきます。
（それにしても、こういうスライドがネットで簡単に作れるっていいですよね。）
The link above is the slides I use in a five-days open seminar at some public high school in Tokyo.
People come to the seminar hoping to learn English language, but there I question them, "do you really think you can be a user of English some day?"
When students receive this challenging question, they often have bewildered, confused expressions on their faces. Then I start to explain about the attitude and mindset that you need to be a good user of English language.
BTW, it's quite easy to create a slide like the above. Try if you need one.
